The Royal ensemble

The Royal ensemble , you might wonder, are they really musicians, no not even one among them! . But here is the catch, they have produced some of the finest music through their emotions during the 3 days of the wedding of Vidushi & Shubam. The Grand gala had over 500 guests attending and the Agarwals took over the Majestic ITC Grand Chola like a sold out rock show.  

 

Welcome lunch was an event of its own, so everybody shook a leg with celebrity performance by Siddharth Mahadevan for the Sangeet, The wedding guests includes some of the prominent faces across the country, The barat kicked off in the afternoon and it went very late, probably one of the most longest barat we have seen in sometime, the families assembled for pheras, with the bride and the groom walked in over a grand entry for a rajwada style pheras. But the highlight of the event is the Varmala, which happened in the Grand Staircase at ITC Grand Chola, this was the first time the Hotel has ever allowed the varmala on the staircase ! A perfect setting for a perfect beginning.
